Sunnig Aar is a one-man band from Zurich with roots at the Grimsel Pass in the Bernese Oberland. Thanks to drum machines and cassette recorders, the instrumental music reaches a dimension worthy of the echoes of barren alpine valleys.
In the new composition “im Mai”, the pedal steel guitar leads a slightly psychedelic path, supported by a tabla drum moving in the steady rhythm of rain.
